Mobile Device Management (MDM)

Mobile Device Management (MDM) is a type of security software used by organizations to monitor, manage, and secure mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops that are used by employees.

MDM solutions enable IT administrators to remotely control and enforce security policies on mobile devices, including device encryption, data backup, access controls, and application management.

MDM helps ensure that mobile devices accessing company data and resources are secure and compliant with organizational security protocols. It also allows IT teams to track device location, enforce password requirements, remotely wipe data from lost or stolen devices, and manage software updates across a fleet of mobile devices.

This helps organizations protect sensitive data, maintain regulatory compliance, and enhance overall mobile device security.
